Bryan’s Birdy Bulletin
Tularosa Road runs along the zone where the brush country to the south blends into the hill country to the north. This means that you get a taste of what each region has to offer. While we spend most of our time here just seeing what we can from the road, there are so many great areas to stop and look and listen for some fantastic species such as bushtits that are difficult to find on any of the other trips. And beyond the birds, the scenery along this road is sure to please, as it is known among locals as one of the prettier drives in the area. Rare birds seen here in the past include rusty blackbird and white-tipped dove.
