Big Day Del Rio: The Duel

Big Day Del Rio | Birding the Border

Big Day Del Rio: Exciting Birdwatching Adventure Awaits!

At Birding the Border Big Day Del Rio, we prioritize creating unforgettable birdwatching experiences rather than just tallying up the number of species spotted. However, let’s admit it—counting those birds is exhilarating too! The Birding with Extension Team decided to kick things up a notch with our Big Day Del Rio by pitting guide against guide. Join us for our Big Day Del Rio: The Duel Trip, where teams will compete to identify as many bird species as possible in a thrilling 8-hour adventure. Ready to expand your bird list?

Trip Details

  • Date: Sunday, May 4
  • Departure: 6:00 AM
  • Fee: $135
  • Guides: Stephen Falick & Ty Allen

Our Mission: Spot as many bird species as we can!

What to Expect

Participants will be split up between our two guides and compete to see which team can get the most birds. Each guide will craft the perfect itinerary to maximize your bird sightings, making every moment count. While drive and walk times may vary, be prepared for an exciting, fast-paced day! With both Stephen Falick & Ty Allen on board, you’re sure to encounter a wide variety of fascinating and unique birds during our Big Day Del Rio: The Duel.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to connect with nature and fellow enthusiasts. We hope to see you there!
