What
A natural resource project utilizing video, computers, lesson plans and an exhibit to enhance awareness of natural resources in general and wildlife specifically.
Who
Lesson plans target third graders. However, the display, computer programs and video can be viewed by any elementary school class that desires to enhance awareness of our natural resources.
Why
To enhance elementary student’s understanding of various aspects of natural resources using video, exhibit and lesson reinforcement. The lesson activities address TEKS and include TAKS objectives.
How
Pre-test third graders before viewing the exhibit or watching the video. Administer the immediate post-test before module leaves your campus. The lesson activities address TEKS and include TAKS objectives.
When
Lesson packets will be forwarded to third grade teachers prior to the date when the exhibit will be set up on individual campuses. The exhibit will remain on each campus for approximately two weeks.
